Traditional Upper Class Arab Man/Persian Tiger Metal Print

This stunning handmade-to-order 12" square aluminum features the "Araber uit den Aanzienlijken stand” character from a hand-colored Karl Joseph Brodtmann stone lithograph from H.R. Schinz's 1840 Naturgeschichte und Abbidungen des Menschen. Brodtmann was part of the post-Linnaean Age of Enlightenment, hand-colouring sets for biologists and the aristocracy. Brodtmann's work displayed a remarkable sense of aesthetics and scientific accuracy. Handcrafted from a 0.08" thick metal panel with a UV and scratch-resistant satin finish. Shadow mount floats .86” off wall, easy installation with screw and wall plug with no assembly required. Fade-resistant high definition colors are chemically bonded to the metal, do not place in direct sunlight for long periods of time. Clean with damp cloth.
