Traditional Chinese Infantryman/Asian Tiger Luxury Throw

This luxurious handmade-to-order throw features the "Chinesche Infanterist” character from a hand-colored Karl Joseph Brodtmann stone lithograph from H.R. Schinz's 1840 Naturgeschichte und Abbidungen des Menschen. Brodtmann was part of the post-Linnaean Age of Enlightenment, hand-colouring sets for biologists and the aristocracy. Brodtmann's work displayed a remarkable sense of aesthetics and scientific accuracy. This 57" x 57" throw is handcrafted with a luxurious 13.27 oz. plush velvet front and a lush 5.90 oz. Sherpa fleece back with expertly hemmed edges. Printed with eco-friendly inks. Wash on the gentle cycle at 86 degrees F, do not tumble dry.
