When it comes to the look of your photo bucket bag, you have total control.
Care instructions
Always test an offcut or sample prior to working the leather with tools, adhesives or heat. To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. Repeated turning or working may affect the digital print, always test your processes on a sample first. As leather is a natural material you may notice small differences in surface and texture, as well as wrinkles, which is common to products made from natural leather. All leathers age naturally according to the usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base colour may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep your product looking its best. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. Avoid contact with light coloured fabrics or upholstery as the colour may transfer. Whilst a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. To clean surface wipe only with a damp lint free cotton cloth.
You have two choices for the type of strap on your photo bucket bag. You can opt for a leather grab strap, which is 12.6" long and 0.9" wide. This strap is ideal for carrying your printed bucket bag in your hand or over your forearm. We make the grab strap from the same smooth Nappa leather that the rest of the bag's detailings are made from so that everything coordinates.
Alternatively, you can opt for a black webbing shoulder strap. The shoulder strap is fully adjustable, from 37" long to 57.9" long. At 1.3" wide, it's sturdy and will sit comfortably on your shoulder. We attach the webbing strap using the smooth black Nappa leather tabs.
Both straps are fastened to the bag with clips, so you can detach them. The clips will be either gunmetal, nickel, or gold depending on which hardware color you select. We use the highest quality hardware with a polished finish to add an extra element of luxury to your bag.
Your printed bucket bag starts with your design idea. Once you've designed your bag, our expert print technicians print your design onto the Nappa leather using industry-leading techniques. Our professional leatherworkers cut and shape the bag and sew each panel together with the thread color of your choice. The black leather detailings and metal fixtures are attached and the drawstring is threaded through the eyelets so that you can open and close your bag easily. Then we add the grab strap or shoulder strap as the finishing touch. Everything is checked over before we send your photo bucket bag to you. This entire process is carefully done by hand by experts.
When designing your custom printed bucket bag, keep in mind how the leather gathers around the top to open and close. If you're using a photo or design with important elements (such as faces) you'll want to make sure they won't be hidden or scrunched up when the bag is pulled shut. We recommend keeping these important visuals towards the center of the front or back of the bag so they'll always be visible.
The details of your bag will all be made from smooth black Nappa leather. This includes the leather drawstring, tab to adjust threading, tabs to hold the straps, and the base. The black will complement your design without taking the attention away from anything you choose to print on your personalized handmade leather bucket bag.
