If you have friends or family moving into a new home soon, or someone you know has just got their first car, why not gift them a personalized photo keychain to add to their new set of keys?
The keychain is made using a looped piece of double butt leather which is high quality leather that is perfect for printing - its full-grain composition allows the inks to go deep into the material and creates a rich and vibrant finish.
When you design your own keychain, our in-house team of leather workers and seamstresses get straight to work. We start by printing your designs and photos onto double butt leather using a specialist process to ensure high definition prints with beautiful, long-lasting saturated colors.
Then, the leather is cut to shape and the edges are hand-painted with multiple layers of paint (in the color of your choice) for a beautifully bold finish. There are five colors to choose from - ranging from bold shades of red and blue to neutrals like black or cream. This color is seen on either side of the loop and can work as a fun contrasting pop-of-color to your design, or blend in nicely.
Our seamstresses then make the leather into a loop, stitch it together, and add the metalwork.
One last quality check and your personalized photo keychain is ready to be sent directly to you.
When you design your own keychain, it is key to remember that your personalized photo keychain strap is quite slim, so choosing a photo or design that isn't too large is important.
You can see how your photos will look on the keychain through the design phase using the 'product view' option, and drag your image around to reposition it.
In the design interface, you will also be able to choose from five edge colors. If you're using a black and white photo, it might be nice to add a red edge paint to create a bold statement. Alternatively, using cream or black will ensure the edges go unnoticed and the focus stays on your images.
Depending on your image, you can choose between gold or silver metalwork to complement the personalized photo keychain. You can take a look at how your design will look with both metal colors, so there's no need to worry about choosing the wrong color.
As you will see from the product view, the loop of the leather keychain with logo will be studded, so there will be a small circle of metal on your design. This is important to consider as you don't want to use an image where someone's face may be missing!
You can design your own keychain using a single photo, or a collage. You may choose to just use a landscape or panoramic photo of our favorite holiday location to keep you motivated every day until your next adventure.
