I wanted a large photo canvas (60x30x1.75 inches), and I went with BOL for their speed, price, and good reviews. I wasn't disappointed. Usually when something sounds too good to be true, it is. But not this time! I ordered on Tuesday. It arrived Friday. Total cost? $120. That includes $15 for INTL PRIORITY shipping. I don't understand how BOL is making any money. This large package shipped from the UK via FedEx. Curious, I looked up what it would cost me to ship the exact same thing. How much? About $250 for shipping alone. Now I know that's without discounted pricing, but still, there's no way they're flying a massive item halfway around the world in 2 days for $15. Other companies promise a 3-4 day production run, but BOL promised SAME DAY turnaround time. Actually this was a bit concerning because there's typically a 2 day drying process for canvases. Other companies charge about $180 for this size of canvas. So I wasn't sure why it only cost $105 with a discount here. I was concerned about getting a cheap product. The Facebook reviews mitigated that concern, and I wasn't disappointed when it arrived. Very high quality canvas and frame. There's got to be a downside, right? Yes, there is. They didn't offer any finishes for the canvas, such as a gloss finish, which is pretty standard protection for canvases. With BOL, it's just the plain ink on a fabric canvas. This helps explain the quick turnaround time. I'm surprised they didn't even offer different finishes, since everything else was very customizable. Ultimately, speed and price were more important to me than the finish. It's pretty easy and inexpensive to use some spray paint or a roller to add that finish coat myself. All I know is I've got this beautiful large photo canvas at an unbelievable price, and it's hanging on my wall in the same week as ordering, and my wife loves it. Would I use BOL again? Absolutely. Still not sure how they're making any money though.

Surprise
The canvas I made, 24" x 36" collage with quotes, was beautiful. It came out just as I had imagined it would. I created it to give to my boyfriend as a gift in remembrance of his dog that had died a few months ago. He absolutely loved it. It came much quicker than I had thought it would and the quality was great as well. The online creation studio is perfect because it allows you to make each picture as large as it's original quality will allow.
